Effective leaders recognize the importance of getting the right people in the right places.  If you are ready to improve who you hire and how they work in your organization, give us a call or drop us a line and we will explain what we do and how it can help you.

Were you aware that (depending on the position, pay grade and which authority you refer to) the cost to replace an employee ranges from 40% to over 250% of their total annual compensation package?  What does that mean in real bottom line costs?  If you pay your employees $10.00 per hour and their benefits package costs you an additional $4.00 per hour that employee’s total annual compensation package is about $28,000.  40% of that is $11,200.00!  Every time you have to replace a $10 per hour employee, it takes at least $11,200.00 out of your bottom line profits.

Replacing employees impacts your bottom line in a very negative way.  If you could start the hiring process in a more effective way by doing a pre-hiring screening and then post hiring testing and evaluation, your employee turnover would be reduced and your bottom line would be improved.  And our testing and evaluation process is valuable for existing employees and managers as well.  In the book “Good to Great”, Jim Collins wrote that one of the keys to success as a leader and for an organization is to get the right people in the right places.  By knowing your employees strengths and weaknesses, you can build teams whose member’s weaknesses are complimented by other team members strengths.  By knowing your own strengths and weaknesses, you can compensate by either being aware of your weakness and adjusting how you do things, getting more training to strengthen your weak areas or delegating the activities to someone who is good at it and enjoys doing the work.
